Issue No. 1 of 2006 of the Hong Kong Economic Trends is now on sale at $13 per issue. Published on a half-monthly basis in the middle and at the end of each month by the Census and Statistics Department, the publication presents up-to-date monthly and quarterly data of major economic indicators which help readers grasp the pulse of Hong Kong's economy before more detailed statistics become available.
Statistical data are presented in tables and charts. Topics covered include external trade; labour, employment and earnings; national income; Balance of Payments account; external debt; consumer prices; commerce; industrial production; construction and real estate; energy consumption; telecommunications and Internet services; tourism; transport; money and finance; and stocks and shares.
This half-monthly publication is in bilingual form and is available in both print version and download version (in PDF format). Download versions of publications purchased are available for immediate downloading while print versions purchased will be delivered by mail.
