The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will launch the sixth phase of the Arts Corner in Hong Kong Park tomorrow (January 1, 2006), to foster people's interest in arts and crafts and provide more fun for park-goers.
From tomorrow to December 31, 2006, between noon and 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 10 Arts Corner stalls will be staged at the outdoor area near the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware in Hong Kong Park, featuring painting, sketching or Chinese traditional arts and crafts. Admission is free.
The LCSD organises similar events in three other venues.
The Arts Fun Fairs are organised in Kowloon Park and Lai Chi Kok Park (Stage III). People are welcomed to visit the fairs between 1 pm and 7pm on Sundays and public holidays until May 31, 2006.
The Arts Corner at Victoria Park will be mounted at the South Pavilion and South Pavilion Plaza between 10am and 6pm on Sundays and public holidays from January 15 to September 24, 2006.
