The Leisure and Cultural Services Department reminds the public to keep order and keep places clean while celebrating the New Year tonight (December 31). Rubbish should be properly disposed of into litter bins. Littering is liable to a fixed penalty of $1,500.
The Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade Beautification Project is in progress. Certain areas of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza and its adjacent marine deck will be closed. Public who intend to go to the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade should take care of their safety in crowded places.
