HONG KONG ADJACENT WATERS, SOUTH OF HONG KONG AND
SHANGCHUAN DAO.
WEATHER SITUATION:
THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE SOUTH CHINA COASTAL
WATERS. BESIDES, A REPLENISHMENT OF THE MONSOON IS EXPECTED
TO REACH THE REGION ON TUESDAY MORNING.
AT 11 P.M., SEVERE TROPICAL STORM YINXING WITH MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS OF ABOUT 90 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS
CENTRE WAS LOCATED AT 14.4 DEGREES NORTH, 129.8 DEGREES
EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 28
KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE VICINITY OF LUZON STRAIT
AND INTENSIFY GRADUALLY.
