THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE SOUTH CHINA COASTAL
WATERS.
AT 3 A.M., SEVERE TROPICAL STORM TRAMI WITH MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS OF ABOUT 110 KILOMETRES PER HOUR NEAR ITS
CENTRE WAS LOCATED AT 17.5 DEGREES NORTH, 114.7 DEGREES
EAST. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES
PER HOUR ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PARTS OF THE SOUTH
CHINA SEA, AND GRADUALLY TOWARDS THE SEAS SOUTH OF HAINAN
ISLAND.
