HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG.
AT 8 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 120 KILOMETRES WEST
OF XISHA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT ABOUT 18
KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE CENTRAL TO NORTHERN PARTS
OF VIETNAM.
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM PULASAN WAS CENTRED ABOUT 130
KILOMETRES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 38 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS
THE VICINITY OF THE RYUKYU ISLANDS.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
CLOUDY PERIODS OVERNIGHT. ONE OR TWO SHOWERS. THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 27 DEGREES TOMORROW MORNING. HOT
WITH SUNNY PERIODS DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE
WILL BE ABOUT 32 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS, AND A COUPLE
OF DEGREES HIGHER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES. MODERATE TO FRESH
EAST TO NORTHEASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE
AND ON HIGH GROUND AT FIRST.
OUTLOOK : A FEW SHOWERS IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS.
