AN ANTICYCLONE ALOFT IS BRINGING GENERALLY FINE AND VERY
HOT WEATHER TO THE COAST OF SOUTHERN CHINA. LOCALLY,
TEMPERATURES OVER MANY PLACES ROSE TO ABOUT 33 DEGREES
AROUND NOON.
TROPICAL STORM YAGI HAS INTENSIFIED INTO A SEVERE TROPICAL
STORM. AT 4 P.M., YAGI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 330 KILOMETRES
SOUTHEAST OF DONGSHA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT
ABOUT 10 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE NORTHERN PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND INTENSIFY GRADUALLY.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
MAINLY FINE WITH ISOLATED SHOWERS. VERY HOT IN THE
AFTERNOON. LIGHT WINDS.
OUTLOOK : STILL VERY HOT TOMORROW, THERE WILL BE A FEW
SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS AND WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN GRADUALLY
LATER. THE WEATHER WILL DETERIORATE IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE
