LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD TROUGH OF
LOW PRESSURE ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.


 
AT 4 P.M., TROPICAL STORM JONGDARI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 120
KILOMETRES SOUTHWEST OF JEJU. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 34 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
YELLOW SEA TOWARDS THE VICINITY OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA,
AND WEAKEN GRADUALLY.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES TOMORROW
MORNING, SHOWERS WILL EASE OFF AT NIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE BETWEEN 25 AND 29 DEGREES. MODERATE TO FRESH
SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON
HIGH GROUND AT FIRST.


 
OUTLOOK : STILL A FEW SHOWERS ON THURSDAY. VERY HOT DURING
THE DAY WITH SUNNY PERIODS IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS.
