HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE IS BRINGING VERY HOT WEATHER TO
SOUTHEASTERN CHINA. MEANWHILE, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE
COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA
SEA.


 
AT 5 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 190 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF XISHA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST
AT ABOUT 14 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
 
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM GAEMI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 790
KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST
AT ABOUT 10 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE SEAS EAST OF THE
PHILIPPINES AND STRENGTHEN SIGNIFICANTLY.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 28 DEGREES TOMORROW
MORNING. SUNNY INTERVALS DURING THE DAY WITH A MAXIMUM
TEMPERATURE OF AROUND 32 DEGREES. MODERATE EAST TO
SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS. SQUALLY SHOWERS LATER TOMORROW, WINDS
WILL BE OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND.
THERE WILL BE SWELLS.
