THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE IS BRINGING VERY HOT WEATHER TO
SOUTHEASTERN CHINA. MEANWHILE, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE
COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA
SEA.
AT NOON, THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 210 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF XISHA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
MEANWHILE, THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE WESTERN NORTH
PACIFIC WAS CENTRED ABOUT 880 KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA. IT
IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER
HOUR ACROSS THE SEAS EAST OF THE PHILIPPINES.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. VERY HOT WITH SUNNY
INTERVALS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON.
