HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE IS COVERING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.
MEANWHILE, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
AT 8 A.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 310 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF XISHA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
MEANWHILE, THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE WESTERN NORTH
PACIFIC WAS CENTRED ABOUT 920 KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA. IT
IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER
HOUR ACROSS THE SEAS EAST OF THE PHILIPPINES.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AT
FIRST. HOT WITH SUNNY INTERVALS DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM
TEMPERATURE WILL BE AROUND 32 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS,
AND A COUPLE OF DEGREES HIGHER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES.
MODERATE EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS, FRESH LATER. THERE
