HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. LOCALLY, SHOWERS THIS
MORNING BROUGHT ABOUT 20 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL TO PARTS
OF SAI KUNG AND KOWLOON. MEANWHILE, THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE
IS COVERING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.


 
AT 10 A.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART
OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 60 KILOMETRES
NORTH-NORTHEAST OF DA NANG. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE
CENTRAL PART OF VIETNAM AND WEAKEN GRADUALLY.

MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AT
FIRST. HOT WITH SUNNY INTERVALS IN THE AFTERNOON.
TEMPERATURES IN THE NEW TERRITORIES WILL BE A COUPLE OF
DEGREES HIGHER THAN THAT IN THE URBAN AREAS. MODERATE TO
FRESH EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY STRONG ON
HIGH GROUND.
