HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE IS COVERING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.
LOCALLY, IT WAS EXTREMELY HOT IN THE AFTERNOON.
TEMPERATURES OVER PARTS OF THE TERRITORY ROSE TO AROUND 35
DEGREES. MEANWHILE, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG.


 
AT 4 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 370 KILOMETRES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF DA NANG. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST
AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF
THE COAST OF CENTRAL VIETNAM.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. ISOLATED SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS AT FIRST. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE
ABOUT 28 DEGREES TOMORROW. VERY HOT WITH SUNNY INTERVALS
DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE AROUND 33
DEGREES. MODERATE EAST TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY
FRESH OFFSHORE AND OCCASIONALLY STRONG ON HIGH GROUND.
