THE WINTER MONSOON IS AFFECTING SOUTHERN CHINA.


 
AT 10 P.M., TROPICAL DEPRESSION JELAWAT WAS CENTRED ABOUT
1050 KILOMETRES SOUTHEAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE SOUTHERN
PART OF THE PHILIPPINES.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY CLOUDY. ONE OR TWO LIGHT RAIN PATCHES TONIGHT AND
TOMORROW MORNING. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 13
DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS. IT WILL REMAIN COLD WITH
GENERALLY A COUPLE OF DEGREES LOWER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES.
BRIGHT PERIODS DURING THE DAY WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF
AROUND 18 DEGREES. FRESH NORTHEASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY
STRONG OFFSHORE AT FIRST. BECOMING MODERATE EASTERLIES
TOMORROW.


 
OUTLOOK : SUNNY PERIODS ON TUESDAY, MILDER DURING THE DAY.
