A FRESH TO STRONG NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE COAST
OF GUANGDONG. MEANWHILE, A BAND OF CLOUDS IS BRINGING
SHOWERS TO THE REGION AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH
CHINA SEA.
AT 10 A.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION TO THE SOUTH OF HAINAN
ISLAND WAS CENTRED ABOUT 130 KILOMETRES SOUTH OF SANYA. IT
IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 12 KILOMETRES
PER HOUR TOWARDS THE VICINITY OF BEIBU WAN.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY
CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. SHOWERS WILL BECOME MORE
FREQUENT GRADUALLY WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. FRESH
EASTERLY WINDS, STRONG OFFSHORE AND OCCASIONALLY UP TO GALE
