HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
GENERAL SITUATION
A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE BROUGHT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TO THE COAST OF GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE
SOUTH CHINA SEA YESTERDAY. LOCALLY, IT WAS MAINLY CLOUDY
WITH A FEW SHOWERS. 5 TO 10 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE
RECORDED OVER MOST PARTS OF THE TERRITORY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
ARE EXPECTED TO STILL AFFECT THE COAST OF GUANGDONG TODAY.
WITH THE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WEAKENING GRADUALLY AND AN
ANTICYCLONE ALOFT STRENGTHENING, SHOWERS WILL LESSEN AND
THE WEATHER WILL IMPROVE OVER SOUTHERN CHINA EARLY TO
MIDWEEK THIS WEEK.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR HONG KONG
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS
WILL BE HEAVIER AT TIMES IN SOME AREAS. TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 30 DEGREES. MODERATE EASTERLY WINDS.
OUTLOOK : SUNNY INTERVALS AND STILL A FEW SHOWERS IN THE
FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS.
