COAST OF GUANGDONG. THE OBSERVATORY HEADQUARTERS RECORDED
HOURLY RAINFALL OF 158.1 MM BETWEEN 11 PM LAST NIGHT AND
MIDNIGHT, WHICH WAS THE HIGHEST RECORD SINCE 1884.
AT 2 A.M., TROPICAL STORM YUN-YEUNG WAS CENTRED ABOUT 380
KILOMETRES SOUTHWEST OF TOKYO. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH
OR NORTH-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 22 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS
THE VICINITY OF HONSHU OF JAPAN.
