HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
A SOUTHERLY AIRSTREAM IS BRINGING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TO THE COAST OF GUANGDONG. LOCALLY, SHOWERS IN THE
AFTERNOON BROUGHT AROUND 10 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL OVER
CENTRAL AND WESTERN DISTRICT, TAI PO DISTRICT AND NORTH
DISTRICT.
SEVERE TROPICAL STORM KHANUN HAS INTENSIFIED INTO A
TYPHOON. AT 4 P.M., KHANUN WAS CENTRED ABOUT 870 KILOMETRES
SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 20 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. ISOLATED SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS AT FIRST. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 27
AND 33 DEGREES TOMORROW. VERY HOT WITH SUNNY PERIODS DURING
THE DAY. MODERATE SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS.
OUTLOOK : VERY HOT WITH SUNNY PERIODS IN THE FOLLOWING
COUPLE OF DAYS. THE WEATHER WILL BECOME UNSETTLED IN THE
LATTER PART OF THIS WEEK.
