HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE SUBSEQUENT SOUTHWESTERLY
AIRSTREAM OF TROPICAL CYCLONE DOKSURI, THERE ARE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE COAST OF GUANGDONG. LOCALLY,
MORE THAN 30 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE RECORDED OVER
MANY PLACES THIS MORNING, AND RAINFALL EVEN EXCEEDED 50
MILLIMETRES OVER MOST PARTS OF THE NEW TERRITORIES.
AT NOON, TROPICAL DEPRESSION DOKSURI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 200
KILOMETRES EAST-NORTHEAST OF WUHAN. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 22 KILOMETRES PER HOUR INTO ANHUI,
AND DISSIPATE GRADUALLY.
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM KHANUN WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1290
KILOMETRES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS
THE WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS. MODERATE TO FRESH SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND AT FIRST.
