HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE SUBSEQUENT SOUTHWESTERLY
AIRSTREAM OF TROPICAL CYCLONE DOKSURI, THERE ARE SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE COAST OF GUANGDONG. LOCALLY,
MORE THAN 30 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE RECORDED OVER
MANY PLACES THIS MORNING, AND RAINFALL EVEN EXCEEDED 50
MILLIMETRES OVER MOST PARTS OF THE NEW TERRITORIES.
TROPICAL STORM DOKSURI HAS WEAKENED INTO A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION. AT 10 A.M., DOKSURI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 210
KILOMETRES EAST OF WUHAN. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 22 KILOMETRES PER HOUR INTO ANHUI,
AND WEAKEN PROGRESSIVELY.
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM KHANUN WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1320
KILOMETRES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE NORTH-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS
THE WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC.
