AN ANTICYCLONE ALOFT IS BRINGING GENERALLY FINE WEATHER TO
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. BESIDES, SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE AFFECTING INLAND GUANGDONG.
AT 2 A.M., TROPICAL STORM MAWAR WAS CENTRED ABOUT 590
KILOMETRES SOUTH OF OSAKA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
EAST-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 48 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE
SEAS SOUTH OF JAPAN.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY
MAINLY FINE AT FIRST. THE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT
28 DEGREES. VERY HOT WITH SUNNY PERIODS AND ONE OR TWO
SHOWERS DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE
AROUND 34 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS, AND A COUPLE OF
