HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


GENERAL SITUATION


THE DRY NORTHEAST MONSOON BROUGHT GENERALLY FINE WEATHER TO
GUANGDONG YESTERDAY. BESIDES, A BAND OF CLOUDS COVERED THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG LAST NIGHT. LOCALLY, THE WEATHER WAS FINE AND
DRY, AND BECAME CLOUDY AT NIGHT. IT WAS COLD YESTERDAY
MORNING. TEMPERATURES IN THE URBAN AREAS FELL TO ABOUT 12
DEGREES, AND A FEW DEGREES LOWER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES.
THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY OVER MOST PARTS OF THE TERRITORY
STAYED AROUND 60 PER CENT OR BELOW IN THE AFTERNOON. THE
BAND OF CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO COVER THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA
TODAY AND TOMORROW. MEANWHILE, THE NORTHEAST MONSOON
AFFECTING GUANGDONG WILL MODERATE SLIGHTLY. TEMPERATURES
WILL RISE GRADUALLY OVER THE REGION.


WEATHER FORECAST FOR HONG KONG (SUNDAY, 1 JAN 2023)


MAINLY CLOUDY. ONE OR TWO LIGHT RAIN PATCHES IN THE MORNING
AND AT NIGHT. RATHER COOL IN THE MORNING. THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 14 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS,
AND A FEW DEGREES LOWER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES. SUNNY
INTERVALS IN THE AFTERNOON WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF
AROUND 18 DEGREES. MODERATE NORTHEASTERLY WINDS.


OUTLOOK : SUNNY INTERVALS AND TEMPERATURES RISING GRADUALLY
