HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
GENERAL SITUATION
A BROAD BAND OF CLOUDS BROUGHT RAINY WEATHER TO THE COAST
OF GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA
YESTERDAY. A FRESH TO STRONG NORTHEAST MONSOON ALSO
AFFECTED THE COAST OF SOUTHERN CHINA. LOCALLY, THE WEATHER
WAS CLOUDY WITH A FEW RAIN PATCHES. A FEW MILLIMETRES OF
RAINFALL WERE RECORDED OVER MOST PARTS OF THE TERRITORY,
AND RAINFALL EVEN EXCEEDED 10 MILLIMETRES OVER THE EASTERN
PART OF HONG KONG ISLAND, KWUN TONG AND SAI KUNG. THE BROAD
BAND OF CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO COVER GUANGDONG IN THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS. WINDS WILL BE WEAK OVER THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG EARLY NEXT WEEK, AND IT WILL BE RATHER WARM
DURING THE DAY.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR HONG KONG
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH ONE OR TWO RAIN PATCHES. TEMPERATURES
WILL RANGE BETWEEN 21 AND 25 DEGREES. MODERATE EAST TO
NORTHEASTERLY WINDS, FRESH AT FIRST.
OUTLOOK : MAINLY CLOUDY WITH ONE OR TWO RAIN PATCHES DURING
THE WEEKEND. SUNNY PERIODS NEXT MONDAY AND TUESDAY, AND IT
WILL BE RATHER WARM DURING THE DAY. BECOMING COOL
APPRECIABLY IN THE MIDDLE AND LATTER PARTS OF NEXT WEEK.
