HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
A FRESH TO STRONG NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING THE COAST
OF GUANGDONG. MEANWHILE, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.


 
AT 2 A.M., TROPICAL STORM NORU HAS WEAKENED INTO A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION. NORU WAS CENTRED ABOUT 340 KILOMETRES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF VIENTIANE. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST
AT ABOUT 10 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE INDOCHINA
PENINSULA AND DISSIPATE GRADUALLY.
 
BESIDES, TROPICAL STORM ROKE WAS CENTRED ABOUT 480
KILOMETRES SOUTHEAST OF OKINAWA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH OR NORTH-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER HOUR
ACROSS THE SEAS SOUTH OF JAPAN.

MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS. SUNNY INTERVALS DURING
THE DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 27 AND 31 DEGREES.
MODERATE TO FRESH EASTERLY WINDS, STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON
HIGH GROUND AT FIRST.
