HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
AN ANTICYCLONE ALOFT IS BRINGING MAINLY FINE WEATHER TO
SOUTHEASTERN CHINA. BESIDES, SHOWERS ARE AFFECTING THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG. SHOWERS IN THE AFTERNOON BROUGHT MORE THAN 20
MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL TO SHEUNG SHUI.


 
AT 4 P.M., TROPICAL STORM MEARI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 110
KILOMETRES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF TOKYO. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 40 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS HONSHU OF
JAPAN.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
MAINLY FINE APART FROM ONE OR TWO SHOWERS. THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE WILL BE AROUND 28 DEGREES TOMORROW. VERY HOT
DURING THE DAY WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF ABOUT 33
DEGREES. LIGHT TO MODERATE SOUTHERLY WINDS.
