HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING SOUTHERN CHINA. A BAND
OF CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM ETAU IS COVERING
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG.


 
AT NOON, TROPICAL STORM ETAU WAS CENTRED ABOUT 400
KILOMETRES EAST-NORTHEAST OF HO CHI MINH CITY. IT IS
FORECAST TO MOVE WEST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER HOUR
TOWARDS THE SOUTHERN PART OF VIETNAM.
 
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM VAMCO WAS CENTRED ABOUT 800
KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST
AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE PHILIPPINES AND
INTENSIFY GRADUALLY.

MAINLY CLOUDY. DRY IN THE AFTERNOON. MODERATE TO FRESH
NORTHEASTERLY WINDS.


 
OUTLOOK : MAINLY FINE AND DRY IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
SLIGHTLY COOLER IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT. BECOMING
CLOUDY ON FRIDAY AND THERE WILL BE ONE OR TWO RAIN PATCHES
OVER THE WEEKEND.
