THE NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING SOUTHERN CHINA. A BAND
OF CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM ETAU IS COVERING
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG.
AT 8 A.M., ETAU WAS CENTRED ABOUT 440 KILOMETRES
EAST-NORTHEAST OF HO CHI MINH CITY. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE SOUTHERN
PART OF VIETNAM.
MEANWHILE, TROPICAL STORM VAMCO WAS CENTRED ABOUT 840
KILOMETRES EAST OF MANILA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST
AT ABOUT 18 KILOMETRES PER HOUR TOWARDS THE PHILIPPINES AND
INTENSIFY GRADUALLY.

MAINLY CLOUDY. ONE OR TWO LIGHT RAIN PATCHES AT FIRST. THE
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 25 DEGREES. MODERATE TO
