HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
A STRONG NORTHEAST MONSOON IS AFFECTING GUANGDONG. BESIDES,
THERE ARE SHOWERS OVER THE COASTAL AREAS AND THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. LOCALLY, MORE THAN 10
MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL WERE RECORDED AT MANY PLACES IN THE
AFTERNOON.
AT 4 P.M., TROPICAL STORM NOUL WAS CENTRED ABOUT 380
KILOMETRES SOUTHEAST OF VIENTIANE. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST AT ABOUT 28 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS INDOCHINA
PENINSULA AND WEAKEN GRADUALLY.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY
THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVIER IN SOME AREAS.
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 30 DEGREES. FRESH
EASTERLY WINDS, STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND AT FIRST.
OUTLOOK : THERE WILL BE LESS SHOWERS IN THE FOLLOWING
COUPLE OF DAYS. BECOMING BRIGHTER EARLY NEXT WEEK.
