HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
 
THUNDERY SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE
IS AFFECTING INLAND GUANGDONG. IT IS EXPECTED TO EDGE
CLOSER TO THE COASTAL AREAS OVERNIGHT. BESIDES, A
SOUTHWESTERLY AIRSTREAM IS BRINGING SHOWERS TO THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA.
 
AT 4 P.M., SEVERE TYPHOON BAVI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 210
KILOMETRES WEST-NORTHWEST OF JEJU. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH AT ABOUT 38 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE YELLOW SEA.
 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVIER TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.
TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 31 DEGREES TOMORROW.
MODERATE TO FRESH SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY STRONG
OFFSHORE AT FIRST.
