OBSERVATORY.
A SOUTHWESTERLY AIRSTREAM IS BRINGING SHOWERS TO THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. BESIDES, THUNDERY
SHOWERS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE IS
AFFECTING INLAND GUANGDONG. IT IS EXPECTED TO EDGE CLOSER
TO THE COASTAL AREAS OVERNIGHT.
AT 4 P.M., SEVERE TYPHOON BAVI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 210
KILOMETRES WEST-NORTHWEST OF JEJU. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
NORTH AT ABOUT 38 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE YELLOW SEA.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW SHOWERS AND SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS.
SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVIER TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.
