HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
A SOUTHWESTERLY AIRSTREAM IS BRINGING SHOWERS TO THE
NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA. BESIDES, UNSETTLED
WEATHER ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE IS
AFFECTING THE NORTHERN PART OF SOUTHERN CHINA. THE
UPPER-AIR DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE SOUTH CHINA
COAST LATER TODAY.
AT 8 A.M., SEVERE TYPHOON BAVI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 230
KILOMETRES SOUTHWEST OF JEJU. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH
AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE EAST CHINA SEA.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TODAY
HOT WITH SUNNY INTERVALS AND A FEW SHOWERS. SHOWERS WILL
INCREASE GRADUALLY DURING THE DAY AND THERE WILL BE A FEW
SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE
ABOUT 32 DEGREES. MODERATE SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY FRESH OFFSHORE.
OUTLOOK : HEAVY SHOWERS AND A FEW SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS AT
