LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
 
THE ANTICYCLONE ALOFT IS BRINGING GENERALLY FINE WEATHER TO
SOUTHEASTERN CHINA.
 
SEVERE TYPHOON NORU HAS WEAKENED INTO A TYPHOON. AT 10
P.M., NORU WAS CENTRED ABOUT 170 KILOMETRES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST
OF KAGOSHIMA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTH-NORTHEAST SLOWLY
ACROSS THE VICINITY OF KYUSHU, JAPAN.
 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
 
MAINLY FINE. THERE WILL BE ISOLATED SHOWERS TOMORROW. THE
MINIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOUT 28 DEGREES. VERY HOT
DURING THE DAY WITH A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF AROUND 33
DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS, AND A COUPLE OF DEGREES HIGHER
IN THE NEW TERRITORIES. MODERATE SOUTH TO SOUTHWESTERLY
WINDS.
 
OUTLOOK : MAINLY FINE AND VERY HOT IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE
OF DAYS.
