PRESSURE IS RISING OVER SOUTHERN CHINA. AN INTENSE
NORTHEAST MONSOON IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE COASTAL AREAS OF
GUANGDONG TOMORROW MORNING.
AT 8 P.M., TYPHOON IN-FA WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1030 KILOMETRES
SOUTHWEST OF IWO JIMA. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHEAST AT
ABOUT 14 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS THE WESTERN NORTH
PACIFIC.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
MAINLY CLOUDY. THERE WILL BE ONE OR TWO RAIN PATCHES
TOMORROW MORNING WITH THE TEMPERATURES OF AROUND 21
DEGREES. SUNNY PERIODS DURING THE DAY WITH A MAXIMUM
TEMPERATURE OF ABOUT 24 DEGREES. MODERATE EASTERLY WINDS,
BECOMING FRESH NORTHERLIES, OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE.
TEMPERATURES WILL DROP SIGNIFICANTLY LATER TOMORROW AND
FALL TO ABOUT 18 DEGREES OR BELOW AT MIDNIGHT.
OUTLOOK : TEMPERATURES IN THE URBAN AREAS WILL DROP TO
AROUND 16 DEGREES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNING, AND A
COUPLE OF DEGREES LOWER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES.
