Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Mong Kok today (November 24) in which a woman died.

     At about 3.48pm, a coach driven by a 59-year-old man was travelling along Sai Yee Street towards Tai Kok Tsui. When approaching the junction of Sai Yee Street and Argyle Street, it reportedly knocked down and ran over a 79-year-old female pedestrian.

     Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was certified dead at scene.

     The coach driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.

     Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is under way.
