EPD convictions in August

Seven of the convictions were under the Air Pollution Control Ordinance, six were under the Noise Control Ordinance, 10 were under the Public Cleansing and Prevention of Nuisances Regulation, three were under the Waste Disposal Ordinance, and one was under the Water Pollution Control Ordinance.
A company was fined $15,000, which was the heaviest fine in August, for failing to comply with the requirement of a notice.
