Temporary suspensions of LCSD's self-service library station services at Island East Sports Centre Sitting-out Area

The self-service library station located at the Island East Sports Centre Sitting-out Area will suspend services from 10pm on September 10 (Tuesday) to 6am on the following day for computer system maintenance work, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 4).

In addition, the library station will suspend services from 9.30pm on September 16 (Monday) to 8am on September 17 (Tuesday) to facilitate the periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations at the venue.

During the service suspension periods, readers are welcome to use the book drop services of other public libraries including those at the MTR Central, Kowloon Tong and Nam Cheong stations to return library materials. They may also renew library materials by telephoning 2698 0002 or 2827 2833 or via www.hkpl.gov.hk.
