Hong Kong Customs grieved by death of Customs officer in a fatal traffic accident

     The Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Ms Louise Ho, today (September 3) expresses grave grievance by the death of a Customs officer who died in a fatal traffic accident on his way to work last night (September 2) and extends the deepest condolences to his family.

     Cause of the incident is under investigation. The department has been in touch with family of the deceased officer and would make every effort to help his family.

     The officer was a Senior Customs Officer stationed at the Shenzhen Bay Control Point.
