Hands-on approach to mental illness

Mind Space at Castle Peak Hospital, now open to the public, is a mental health experience museum where apart from unveiling the history of Hong Kong’s psychiatric services, it offers visitors a hands-on approach to understanding mental illness via simulated experiences of symptoms, interactive exhibits, animated displays and relevant relics.

News.gov.hk interviewed Peer Support Workers who play an integral role at the museum by sharing their past mental illness experiences with visitors and students to determine what they gained after touring the museum.
