Fatal traffic accident in Kwai Chung

At about 9.46am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 62-year-old man reportedly knocked down the 85-year-old man when reversing at a dock loading area of Kwai Shing West Estate on Kwai Luen Road.
Sustaining serious multiple body injuries, the man was certified dead at scene.
The light goods vehicle driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
