District Committees constituencies register released today

The District Committees constituencies (DCCs) register was released today (October 9). A total of 2 533 electors are now carried in the register. They are members of the Area Committees, District Fight Crime Committees or District Fire Safety Committees in the 18 districts, and have been registered as Geographical Constituency electors at the same time. They may cast their vote in the DCC election of the District Council Ordinary Election to be held on December 10 this year.

The notice on the inspection of the register was gazetted today. The law stipulates that a copy of the register may only be shown in accordance with the statutory requirements and made available for inspection by specified persons.
