Passenger and cargo clearance services at Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai boundary control point to resume tomorrow

     ​The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government was notified by the Shenzhen authority today (September 10) that passenger and cargo clearance services at the Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai boundary control point (BCP) will resume at 7am tomorrow (September 11), while the relevant services at the Man Kam To BCP will continue to be suspended until further notice. 

     All goods vehicles carrying fresh food can enter Hong Kong through the Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai BCP and Huanggang/Lok Ma Chau BCP for inspection by the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. 

     The HKSAR Government will continue to maintain close liaison and co-ordination with the Shenzhen authority. Announcement on the operation arrangement of the Man Kam To BCP will be made in due course once information is available.
