Fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi

At 7.45am, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by the 65-year-old man was travelling along Hing Wah Street West towards Container Port Road South. When approaching the junction of Hing Wah Street West and Lai Po Road, the MGV reportedly lost control and rammed into perimeter wall.
Sustaining no superficial injury, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital in unconscious state and certified dead at 9.15am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
