FEHD Weekend Bazaar to be held in Stanley this weekend

A spokesman for the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) said today (June 30) that the fourth Weekend Bazaar co-organised by the FEHD and local groups will be held this weekend (July 1 and 2) at Stanley Promenade in Southern District. Admission to the Weekend Bazaar is free and members of the public are welcome to join.

The spokesman said, "July 1 marks the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, as well as the first such anniversary after the epidemic has passed and our society has returned to normalcy. The FEHD hopes that the Weekend Bazaar would add festive atmosphere to the community and bring joy to members of the public."

The Weekend Bazaar in Stanley offers a diverse range of activities, apart from various booths providing food and shopping, a variety of performances covering songs and dances as well as sports and more will also be available for members of the public to enjoy the weekend. Details of the event are as follows:

Date: July 1 and 2
Time: 11am to 6pm
