Inland Revenue Department to relocate offices to Kai Tak and hold "Past and Future" Exhibition (with photos)

     The Inland Revenue Department announced today (December 15) that its offices, currently located at the Revenue Tower, Wan Chai, will be relocated to the newly built Inland Revenue Centre at 5 Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon, by phases from next Monday (December 19) to May 2023. Members of the public planning to visit the department's offices during the period should note the following relocation schedule of respective units and sections:

     The business hours and contact telephone numbers of the respective offices will remain unchanged. The department encourages the public to use electronic services to handle tax affairs as much as possible. A list of such services can be found in the department's website at www.ird.gov.hk/eng/ese/index.htm.

     To mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as well as the 75th anniversary of the department, the department will hold an exhibition on G/F of the Inland Revenue Centre from December 19, 2022, to January 31, 2023. The exhibition, with the theme of "Past and Future", will showcase the past, present and future work of the department. Members of the public are welcome to visit the exhibition.

The offices of the Inland Revenue Department, currently located at the Revenue Tower, Wan Chai, will be relocated to the newly built Inland Revenue Centre at 5 Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon, by phases from next Monday (December 19) to May 2023.
The Inland Revenue Centre is located at the Kai Tak Development Area adjacent to the Trade and Industry Tower and MTR Kai Tak Station. A number of environmentally friendly, energy-saving facilities and green features have been incorporated into the building's design.
