Live broadcast of SB's Flag Raising Ceremony to Commemorate 40th Anniversary of Constitution Sunday

     This Sunday (December 4) is Constitution Day. As this year marks the 40th anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the Constitution, the Security Bureau (SB) will lead the six disciplined services, the youth groups under various disciplined and auxiliary services, as well as other youth uniformed groups to hold the Flag Raising Ceremony to Commemorate 40th Anniversary of Constitution at the Hong Kong Customs College that day to enhance public awareness of the Constitution and promote its spirit. Members of the public are welcome to join the ceremony through a live broadcast.
 
     The Secretary for Justice, Mr Paul Lam, SC, will address the ceremony. The participating disciplined services come from the Customs and Excise Department, the Government Flying Service, the Correctional Services Department (CSD), the Fire Services Department, the Hong Kong Police Force, and the Immigration Department. In addition, the youth groups under various disciplined and auxiliary services, together with other youth uniformed groups, including the Customs Youth Leader Corps, the CSD's Rehabilitation Pioneer Leaders, the Fire and Ambulance Services Teen Connect, Junior Police Call, the Immigration Department Youth Leaders Corps, the Auxiliary Medical Service Cadet Corps, the Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps, the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association and the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps will also participate in the ceremony.
 
     The ceremony will be broadcast live on multiple platforms at 7.40am. The disciplined services ceremonial guard and flag party will perform the Chinese-style foot drill in the flag raising ceremony and the disciplined services band will conduct a music performance.
 
     Members of the public are welcome to watch the live broadcast of the flag raising ceremony via television and relevant social media platforms and websites. They include Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) TV 32, the Facebook pages of the SB and the disciplined services, the websites of RTHK and the Information Services Department, and the YouTube channel of RTHK.
