Public views invited on public library services

The Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is inviting library patrons to take part in a reader opinion survey, which will be held from October 1 to 31. Patrons are welcome to share their experience in using library services and make suggestions at the HKPL website (www.hkpl.gov.hk/rlgform), or by completing the printed feedback form available at all public libraries in Hong Kong.
The HKPL will also hold a series of Reader Liaison Group gatherings at designated libraries in various districts from October 8 to 29, inviting library patrons to express their views on public library services for the improvement of service quality. Details of the gatherings are as follows:

Interested patrons may register online at www.hkpl.gov.hk/rlg or reserve a seat by completing the reservation form available at all public libraries. Completed forms should be returned by fax to 2415 8211 or email to hotline-lib@lcsd.gov.hk.

In order to comply with the requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, members of the public are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" venue QR code with their mobile phones/other mobile devices before being allowed to enter the public libraries for necessary contact tracing if a confirmed case is found. In accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, all persons entering indoor venues under the management of the LCSD must comply with the relevant requirement of the Vaccine Pass. According to the latest requirement on the Vaccine Pass announced by the Government, all persons with their Vaccine Pass QR codes displayed in red or amber are not allowed to enter the public libraries under the management of the LCSD.
