The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:
 
     The Hospital Authority announces that as the Hong Kong Observatory will issue the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 at or before 7.25pm, its general out-patient evening clinics will be closed when the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is hoisted. Patients, who have scheduled appointments, are advised to make a new appointment after the cancellation of the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8.
 
     Service of Accident and Emergency Department at public hospitals remains normal.
