Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) tests positive for COVID-19

     A spokesman for the Development Bureau (DEVB) said today (June 23) that the Permanent Secretary for Development (Works), Mr Ricky Lau, had tested positive for COVID-19 through nucleic acid test. He is undergoing isolation in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health.

     Mr Lau had been undergoing quarantine and working from home since June 19 in accordance with the guidelines of the CHP as his wife has earlier tested positive for COVID-19. He last went to work on June 17. He wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work, including rapid antigen tests conducted daily with negative results obtained. He has no recent travel history.
