"Toy Formula 1 · Lai Chi Kok Park" to host model car activities on June 19

During the event, the hard-surfaced soccer pitch of Lai Chi Kok Park Stage I will be turned into three racing circuits and a parade area for radio-controlled model cars. Experienced participants can show their skills in a large racing circuit measuring about 35 metres by 20m, while beginners may experience the fun of operating radio-controlled model off-road cars and motorcycles on the two smaller racing circuits. Participants can also look around and take pictures of the different types of radio-controlled model cars on display in the parade area. Professionals will be present at the event to offer guidance and assistance to participants, as well as share their experience through demonstrations.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the HKSAR's establishment, the LCSD is organising a series of Happy@Parks activities with various themes from June to December this year in six LCSD parks, allowing users to experience the joyful atmosphere with their families during holidays through a variety of activities and games.
"Toy Formula 1 · Lai Chi Kok Park", will be held at the hard-surfaced soccer pitch of Lai Chi Kok Park Stage I from 3pm to 6pm on June 19. Admission is free, and different types of radio-controlled model cars will be provided for participants to use without charge. Members of the public are welcome to join on the spot. In order to comply with the requirements stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and relevant requirements of administrative instructions, participants are required to scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code and produce their vaccination records for the person-in-charge to carry out a visual inspection before being allowed to enter. Participants must wear masks at all times during the event in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Wearing of Mask) Regulation (Cap. 599I).
