Hospital Authority congratulates Mr John Lee on his successful election

The Hospital Authority (HA) today (May 8) extends sincere congratulations to Mr John Lee for being successfully elected as the Sixth-term Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The HA Chairman Mr Henry Fan said, "The HA and I extend sincere congratulations to Mr Lee for being successfully elected with overwhelming majority of votes. In the future, we will fully support Mr Lee and his team to safeguard the public health of Hong Kong citizens together."
"Mr Lee proposed to enhance the rapid response protocol for public heath emergencies, recruiting a larger healthcare workforce, actively promote primary healthcare system, strengthening community mental health services and further study the application and development of Chinese medicine in his election manifesto. The HA is looking forward to have more in-depth exchange and collaboration with Mr Lee and his team for the sustainability of public healthcare service."
Mr Fan added that having obtained overwhelming majority of votes reflects Mr Lee has full support from different sectors, and the successful practice of the Chief Executive Election after the improvement of electoral system.
